Friends of Nepal UK Lecture Series

Conversation. Experience. Friendship.

The Friends of Nepal UK Lecture Series brings together remarkable people and invited guests for occasional evenings of conversation, reflection and shared experience.

Hosted in an intimate setting, each evening offers an opportunity to hear directly from individuals whose lives, work or experience provide a distinctive perspective on Nepal, the United Kingdom and the wider world.

Speakers may come from many walks of life — humanitarian service, exploration, medicine, diplomacy, the Armed Forces, conservation, culture, academia and public life — united not by title, but by having something worthwhile to share.

By Invitation

Lecture Series evenings are intentionally small and are normally by invitation.

We believe that some of the best conversations happen away from the public stage. For that reason, we do not routinely announce our speakers, guest lists or detailed programme in advance.

This allows our guests and speakers to participate in a relaxed environment and enables conversations to take place with the discretion they deserve.
